Continue the Mission.
Charlie Mike is a Denver-based crew chasing hard, exciting objectives — big peaks, long miles, cold water — your misogi. Do you thrive on challenge and adventure? Good — that's exactly what we do here.
In military radio-speak, "Charlie Mike" means continue the mission — keep moving after contact, keep going when it gets hard. That's the whole idea. We're a community that creates a mission — something big enough to matter — and comes back fulfilled, having earned it together.

What's a misogi?
Misogi (禊) is a Japanese Shinto practice of purification — originally, standing beneath a freezing waterfall to wash away the old and start clean. Modern adventure culture borrowed the idea: pick one challenge a year that's genuinely hard, hard enough that finishing isn't guaranteed, and take it on anyway. We think most people go soft without something like it — a mission that demands everything and hands you back the feeling that you're actually alive. That's the spirit behind every Charlie Mike objective. Got one in mind? Pitch it to the crew — it might just become the next mission.
Some people need a challenge to feel alive. Are you one of them?
You train without being told
Fitness isn't a resolution for you. It's just what you do, every week, whether a mission's on the calendar or not.
You've already been out there
Real exposure, real weather, real backcountry — you know what it costs before we ever meet at the trailhead.
You need adventure, not comfort
Routine doesn't sit right with you for long. You're already looking for what's next.
You'd rather suffer with people
You could do this alone. You don't want to — the team is half the reason you're still doing this at all.
Charlie Mike — doing hard things with amazing people.
